X-ray computed tomography / Computed tomography (CT scan) / Computed axial tomography (CAT scan) :
Digital geometry processing is used to generate a three-dimensional image of the inside of an object from a large series of two-dimensional X-ray images taken around a single axis of rotation.
Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI, Thermography) :Infrared thermography (IRT), thermal imaging, and thermal video are examples of infrared imaging science. Thermography allows one to see variations in temperature. When viewed through a thermal imaging camera, warm objects stand out well against cooler backgrounds; humans and other warm-blooded animals become easily visible against the environment, day or night. As a result, thermography is particularly useful to military and other users of surveillance cameras.
DITI is a SAFE, affordable, non-invasive, no radiation, FDA registered clinical test studying unique thermal patterns and detecting changes in:
• Breast Health
• Headache evaluation & TMJ Dysfunction
• Vascular Health including:
• Stroke screening
• Coronary, Arteriosclerosis
• Deep Vein Thrombosis and Peripheral
• Pain & Injury to nerve and soft tissue
• Inflammatory Disease
• Nerve Entrapment
• and much more
Arthoscopy : The term arthroscopy basically means to look into the joint. (Arthro means joint, and scopymeans look.) So the common phrase scope the joint means to insert an arthroscope into the joint and have a look. In the early days before the development of miniature video cameras, about all the surgeon could do was take a look.
Over the past several years, the development of very small video cameras and specialized instruments have allowed surgeons to do more than simply take a look into the joint. The arthroscope is now used more and more for actual surgical procedures.
